It seems the cat is out of the bag. If you know me personally, read this blog regularly, follow me on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook chances are good you know I love Ferrari Trento sparkling wines. If you come to my house for dinner I will likely greet you with a glass of Ferrari Trento. If you work at one of my favorite local wines stores you know I love Ferrari Trento. If you are my husband you know I moved heaven and earth to acquire enough bottles of Ferrari Trento 2007 Perle to toast your fiftieth birthday party. So what is this article about? Ferrari Trento!

This past August I attended the Wine Bloggers Conference. It was a fun three days meeting face to face so many people I have interacted with virtually for years. One such person is Martin Redmond of Enofylz Wine Blog. I met Martin on Friday morning. At lunch that same day there was a bustle of wine being served at various tables around the room. Martin takes a moment to find me to say “hey Michelle, they are pouring Ferrari Trento sparkling wines at that table across the room.” It is no secret that I love Ferrari Trento! I have spread my love too. I know a few people who now also love Ferrari Trento based on my introduction and exuberance.

All this is to say that for the second year in a row Ferrari Trento is named the “Official Sparkling Wine Partner of the 68th Emmy Awards.” When I received the email from my friends at Gregory White PR sharing this news with me and offering me a media sample of Ferrari Trento I was pumped. Not because I am unable to find Ferrari Trento wines in my market, in fact they are widely distributed and I am known to buy them often. I was pumped because the more Ferrari Trento the better!

Ferrari Trento Emmy Awards Brut

Overall, I am not a big Emmy Awards watcher, but many of my favorite tv shows are nominated including: Mr Robot (crazy show, can’t figure it out but we love it), The American, House of Cards, Downton Abbey (a sentimental favorite), plus Game of Thrones (we would likely watch it if we could figure out how to start from the beginning without having to pay for it since we already pay for HBO), Better Call Saul (what? Hello? The Walking Dead…duh), and Homeland (always wanted to watch but don’t have Showtime). Plus Jimmy Kimmel is hysterical, so as long as I have a glass of Ferrari Trento Sparkling Wine in my hand I will gladly watch the Emmy Awards and support my favorite bubbles!

Ferrari Trento Brut 68 Emmy AwardsFratelli Lunelli Ferrari Metodo Classico Brut Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige Italy: The non-vintage sparkling wine was crafted of 100% Chardonnay; poured a vibrant golden yellow into the glass; fresh fruit basket aromas of green apples, pears, and citrus are met with a touch of honeysuckle, along with mouth-watering buttery almond croissant; these aromas blend as harmonious flavors on the palate with rigorous acidity that is crisp and vibrant with a clean and effervescent mouth-feel. A perfect wine to pair with oysters, popcorn and fried chicken or just sip and enjoy! SRP $24; this sparkling wine is widely distributed to wine retailers; click here to find near you.

In 2015, they stunned the wine world, winning “Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year” at the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships and “Best European Winery” at the Wine Enthusiast Wine Star Awards. The toast of Italy since 1902, Ferrari has been poured for luminaries at the Oscars and the Venice and Tribeca Film Festivals, at the Prada MET Costume Institute Gala, and at the Rio Olympics. Long championed by chefs and restaurants worldwide, Ferrari recently presented the Ferrari Trento Art of Hospitality Award at the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards, solidifying their luxury reputation at the best tables.

If you have yet to try the “2015 Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year” then what are you waiting for? Yes, Ferrari Trento is famous for exuding the “Italian Art of Living,” but there is much more to Ferrari Trento than glamour. Ferrari wines maintain their deep tradition to the Trento region, to founder Giulo Ferrari, and to sustainable practices to protect the environment while crafting sparkling wines of the highest quality. To learn more please revisit my article, “Ferrari Trento: Epitomizing the Italian Art of Living.” So pop a cork on these truly outstanding wines and feel good knowing the wines were crafted with intention and integrity to be enjoyed either in a glamorous gala or at home with friends and a good meal.
